Commencement 070707 (10am)
What a beautiful date for our Commencement. Although we were told that we will be having a Econs Honours Photo-taking session today at 830am before our commencement, it was cancelled due to the rain...ergg...to think I woke up so early, and rushed there despite the rain...Everyone was like asking whether the photo-taking thingy is still on...anyway, we just went onto take our own photos lo..
During the ceremony, I'm actually quite sleepy...but dun dare to yawn cos scare the video cam will suddenly shoot me.
Everyone was given abt 15 seconds of fame to go on stage to receive the empty scholl and to be shot and shown on the big screen...haha...
After the ceremony, is the refreshment and its really crowded. People were looking for parents/friends, taking photos, eating, collecting gown bag.....Well managed to take some photos with my family and friends =)
Then me and my family headed back home. But after i reached home,changed my clothes, and was lying on my bed abt to sleep le, YY called and say the Econs ppl are actually gg to take group photo at Esplanade at 3pm...WOW...i really dunno what to do lo...I'm super tired, reluctant to get up, but i wanna take photos with them also leh...LL called later and she's also at home le... then I decided that I'll go, cos i know i'll regret if i dun. So quickly go changed and put some make up, and bring my gown. My father say he gg to drive me and LL to esplanade.
The photo-taking session was fun though...cos we were a grp of abt 20 ppl ( not full strenghth though) and after we changed to our gown, and walking ard to take photos, we were the attraction lo...The primary sch students queuing to watch the NDP rehersal we so excited when they saw us...tourists were attracted by us (and even use their cam to snap photos of us when we were taking grp photos) That was fun (though quite tiring too). We took photos at esplanade, and on the way to merlion, we also stopped at some places to take photos.
My poor legs need some rest!!
